Aloha from Maui, and my favorite hot dog stop or cafe, or deli whichever one you want, is Aloha Deli owned by the Canastra father and son team, Howard and Steve, the coolest guys this side of the White House, and the other side of Beijing China. When you get there be in for a friendly welcome by this team. Look whale watch season is coming, and more than likely your boat for this excursion will depart out of the Maalaea Harbor in the morning. Well, the Harbor Shops is next to the harbor so close you can throw a rock and hit the building even after Tommy John surgery!
So for breakfast they have cool and ono (delicious) breakfast wraps, and the best freshly ground coffees. So if you got a little munchies going on stop by, located upstairs in the complex, or if you go directly upstairs next to Beach Bums it is on the right hand side can't miss it. And guess what? They got an ATM machine too.
Well my favorite hot dog is the all beef Volcano Dog, a quarter pounder with soft bun, and a spicy concoction made with Hawaiian Chili Peppers that Steve created, and it is really good, what makes their dogs great is Steve and Howard's freshly made condiments that can't be beat, all of the ingredients are grown on the island of Maui, do I need to say more? No I don't think so. Follow them on Facebook too, or go to their website, www.alohadelimaui.com
